The Philistines attack David and his knights, but are defeated.  Details show:  1 -3 "heater" style battle shields, each with different heraldic markings.  2 -7 Maciejowski Helms3 -several Norman nasal helms, including one being split in two by a well placed axe.  4 -very detailed Norman nasal helm, and a complete set of chainmaille armour 5 -close-up of a very ornate Norman nasal helm. 6 -Maciejowski Helm7 -Maciejowski Helm.  8 -Maciejowski Helm9 -2 saddles showing different tooling work on the leather.  10 -Norman shield and a single-hand sword with wire-wrapped grip.  11 -Norman nasal helm with rivets or studs. 12 -ornate Norman helm, without a nasal piece.  13 -round battle shield called a buckler/roundel/rondel.  14 -single-hand sword crossguard with curled down ends.  15 -top detail of a sword scabbard16 -detail of an axe blade mounted on its handle.  17 -example of the relative ineffectiveness of chainmaille in battle. David brings the Ark Of The Covenant from Gibeah to the house of Obed-Edom.  Details show:  1 -wheel of a cart. 2 -close-up of the hub-locking mechanism used to hold a wheel on a cart axel.  3 -oxen hitched to a cart.  4 -a bell used as a musical instrument.  5 -musical instrument known as a Recorder. 6 -musical instrument known as a Viol7 -musical instrument, the Harp (ornately carved frame).  8 -musical instrument known as "The Bones".  9 -musical instrument known as a Timbrel. 10 -musical instrument, the Trumpet.

David dances in front of the Ark as his wife, Michal, looks on in disgust.  Details show:  1 -Ark Of The Covenant (containing the tablets of the 10 Commandments).  2 -musical instrument, the Harp 3 -musical instrument, the Timbrel 4 -musical instrument, the Trumpet 5 -a lady's headwear, possibly a crown, but this is not clear.  6 -musical instrument, the Recorder.  7 -backside of a musical instrument, the Viol. Livestock are sacrificed before the Ark inside the tabernacle.  Details show:  1 -candle holder.  2 -an axe3 -elegant table cloth.  4 -candle holder.  5 -a dagger. David blesses the people of Israel and hands out bread, beef and cakes of flour fried in oil.  Detail shows:  1 -scepter.
