Uriah sets up camp outside David's house, refusing to go home to his wife.  Details show:  1 -hauberk with attached mittens.  2 -close-up of chainmaille mitten.  3 -another close-up of chainmaille mitten.  4 -table knife.  5 -serving bowls.  6 -serving bowl.  7 -ornate door hinge.   8 -iron reinforcing band on a wooden door. David has Uriah take a letter to Joab asking Joab to put Uriah at the front line of an upcoming battle.  Joab does so, and Uriah is killed in battle.  Details show:  1 -single hand sword in a scabbard. Nice example of vertical lines  cut into the outside ends of the crossguard.  2 -attached coif thrown back when not in use.  3 -a letter carried in a small, round canister.  4 -weapon known as a Glaive.  5 -a bowman aims his bow.  6 -Maciejowski Helm.  7 -battle axe versus battle shield encounter.   8 -excellent example of a knight protecting himself from a defender with a battle axe as he scales a wall.  9 -an Arbalestier (a crossbowman) aims his Arbalest (a crossbow).  10 -another Arbalestier (a crossbowman) aims his Arbalest (a crossbow).  11 -weapon known as a sling.  12 -round battle shield called a buckler/roundel/rondel.

A messenger tells Bathsheba that her husband, Uriah, has been killed in battle.  Details show:  1 -excellent view of a spear head.  2 -pouch or container of undetermined type hanging on a belt. After Uriah's death, David takes Bathsheba as his wife.  Detail shows:  1 -leather forearm-length gloves. Bathsheba bears David a son.  Detail shows:  1 -baby cradle. Nathan the Prophet rebukes David for marrying Bathsheba.  David begs the lord to spare his son.  Details show:  1 -headwear resembling a mix between turban and bandana.  2 -indication of two different types of Vair (Fur) lining on two different cloaks (difference indicated by the different colors).
