David's knights engage Absalom and his knights
in a melee which takes place in the forest of Ephraim. The order is
to bring Absalom back alive. Detail shows: 1

Joab disregards David's order to bring Absalom
back alive and impales Absalom with two spears, while preparing to thrust
a third into Absalom's body. Absalom gets entangled in a low hanging
tree and ends up dieing while hanging from his hair.
